Great drawing @scrawly! I often have I topic in mind and just start drawing but haven't tried three words and just start. Lately I draw a simple thumbnail and start and surprise myself with the result :)
You started from a simple thumbnail? Like a small planning sketch or do you start small and then expand? I'm actually quite surprised that you planned your drawing, because your art looks so free and unrestrained.
True but lately I try that with smaller paintings, draw mini thumb (often just a simple expression) take picture put it on a layer and go twisted :D

Yeah I hardly plan except for the big project I'm working on but still mostly free to go anywhere. Sometimes I have a topic in my mind or feeling and sometimes a vague idea. But yes you could say I draw free and unstrained because I get inspired by the lines I draw at that time. Planned ideas never see the finish somehow :(
I dig it. I should try this sometime.. 3 favorite words, hmm. Isolation, grim, and apathetic. Damnit, I'll try this exercise again tomorrow. Maybe I should do 3 words I never say!
LOL if you draw with those three words, then your normal art will come out. Maybe try writing ten words each in their separate piece of paper and shuffle them? Even if you have drawn the words you pick often, maybe you haven't drawn the combination :).
owoh, i love this * __ * her eyes are so soft and full with quiet but vibrant energies <3 love her mouth / lips also, and that mole makes her very memorable and distinctive <3
love the braid and that hat too, but most of all, i love your composition and pose in this piccar, it really brings attention to the elf's face and eyes, specifically. very lovely~ very beautiful bluey hues, also~ i love it~
Looks great, very boho chic! And the process of how you came up to the idea is quite interesting, I think I might borrow it next time I have an artist's block

Yep! Having a mole in that place is sexy... though in some Asian cultures, having a mole there means the person's too chatty XD.
Well that's just a matter of opinion. One person's chatty might not be the next person's chatty.
