Plaskett Rock For #BoulderSunday
Plaskett Rock is in the Big Sur area of California. I love everything about Big Sur, well, except for Nail Man. Screw that guy! But the scenery there along the shoreline is incredibly photogenic and the camping is always a blast.
Fortunately, I just got news that I will be camping there again next weekend! Woohoo! But only if the weather forecast doesn't get a lot worse... It's supposed to rain a bit but some of us who were planning on going will deal with the rain in order to enjoy some time off of the snowy mountain here in Tahoe. When I camp with this group of friends, it's not really a photo centered trip. However, I will be bringing the camera and who knows what I'll get. I actually did get the photo below while with these freinds so maybe I will catch another sunset, or maybe even a hungover sunrise...

Shot with a Canon 5D MarkII and a 24-105mm lens, set at 25mm. The ISO was 50, the aperture was f22, and the exposure time was .4 second. A graduated neutral density filter was used on the lens.

Highs of 59 f, and lows around 46 f. With a bit of rain. Quite a bit warmer than up here in snowy Truckee.

Cool! I love the Big Sur area. Yeah, a buddy got a site at Kirk Creek for the weekend. If the forecast gets worse, it may get cancelled but if it's only supposed to be a little rain, I'll be there!
Oh yeah, great place. Weather doesn't look good for the weekend ☹️. I might try and get out that way if weather is good and you make it.

Will do! Nope, I have not. Really, when I go camping with this group of guys it's usually all about drinking and hanging around the campfire. Sometimes a bit of beach time too.
