Architectural Photography - 105 Meets 405
When I moved to Los Angeles over two decades ago, I was immediately taken by the massive freeways and interchanges here in the city. I still think these concrete structures are incredible examples of physics and architecture. This particular one is the 105/405 freeway interchange from the vantage point of Imperial Blvd. I was at a stoplight and couldn't resist snapping a picture while I waited for the green light.

I like this angle. I've never looked at the freeway from this vantage point before. It makes me a little more worried about quakes like that one that knocked my water off my nightstand this morning lol. It's cool how artful you can make a freeway bridge look though.
Thanks! Yeah, occasionally when I'm at a stoplight under a massive concrete overpass, I think about what would happen if there was an earthquake. That would not be good!
Hopefully built to withstand the next big earthquake
I hope so!

Multitasking in traffic... good work! Nice day out too!
