Morning Glory / Prunkwinde (Ipomoea)

The Morning Glory comes as a multicolored ornamental plant originally from tropical areas and loves full sun locations. With its flowers it delights us from June to November. Due to the sensitivity to cold, it is sown every year or overwintered in pots in the basement.
This species is one of the wind plants and can easily grow 4 meters of suitable trellis aids. The pictures were taken this afternoon in the garden of my mother, have fun!
Die Prunkwinde kommt als mehrfarbige Zierpflanze ursprünglich aus tropischen Gebieten und liebt vollsonnige Standorte. Mit ihrer Blütenpracht erfreut sie uns von Juni bis in den November hinein. Aufgrund der Empfindlichkeit gegenüber Kälte wird sie jedes Jahr neu angesät oder in Kübeln im Keller überwintert.
Diese Art zählt zu den Windengewächsen und kann mühelos 4 Meter an geeigneten Rankhilfen hochwachsen. Die Bilder sind heute nachmittag im Garten meiner Mutter entstanden, viel Freude!

Very beautiful colours! We have only the deep purple colour here. We eat these leaves by cooking these in quick stirred fry dish!

Unfortunately this year, the seeds I've sown didn't manage to grow like they did last year. Probably already expired :D.
Their blooms are a bit similar to those of sweet potatoes :)
