Heavenly Blue
In Neighbor's Garden grows this hybrid of Caryopteris incana and Caryopteris mongholica, which happened to originate in England in the 1930s. The picture shows the variety "Heavenly Blue", a winter hardy shrub with many fragrant flowers. During my visit a whole number of bees hunted on it, so of course I can not just pass it without making pictures and sharing them with you.
In Nachbars Garten wächst diese Hybride aus Caryopteris incana und Caryopteris mongholica die in den 30'er Jahren zufällig in England entstanden ist. Im Bild ist die Sorte "Heavenly Blue" zu sehen, ein winterharter kleiner Strauch mit vielen duftenden Blüten. Bei meinem Besuch tummelten sich eine ganze Anzahl von Bienen darauf, da kann ich natürlich nicht einfach daran vorbeigehen ohne es im Bild festzuhalten und mit euch zu teilen.
