Hi all Art lovers!
A thrifty weekend at gallery visits has ended. Only two openings were on the agenda. Gallery Engleson offered painting by Icelandic Helga Kristmundsdóttir. Interesting painting where the landscape is at the center. The Gothenburg Art Museum shows the exhibition, "You are, taking off in today's increasingly screwed up, political tone and the lack of listening." The exhibition features eight artists from different generations, from many parts of the world. An exhibition of introspection rather than extrospection. Some ongoing exhibitions that we have looked at are the exhibition Coast to Coast, which is on display at the Gothenburg City Library.
Artist Björn Camenius shows paintings at Gallery Uddenberg, Kristina Thun shows mixed technique at Gallery Aveny and at Galleri 54 it is Johanna Arvidsson with the title Blue shadows in the medicine garden and in the Pepshow window, Gang of Two is shown by Karin Sandberg.
A watercolor exhibition titled Far & Son is also ongoing at Gallery & More by artist Saber Rezgar Alipanah and Arvin Alipanah

En sparsam helg på galleribesök har avslutats. Endast två vernissager fanns på vår agenda. Galleri Engleson bjöd på måleri av isländskan Helga Kristmundsdóttir. Intressant måleri ur fantasin där urtidslandskapet står i centrum. Göteborg Konstmuseum visar utställningen, "Du är, tar avstamp i dagens allt mer uppskruvade, politiska tonläge och bristen på lyssnande." I utställningen medverkar åtta konstnärer från olika generationer och från olika delar av världen. En utställning av introspektion snarare än extrovert. Några pågående utställningar som vi har tittat på är Coast to Coast som visas på Göteborgs Stadsbibliotek.
Konstnären Björn Camenius visar målningar på Galleri Uddenberg, Kristina Thun visar blandteknik på Galleri Aveny och på Galleri 54 är det Johanna Arvidsson som ställer ut med titeln Blå skuggor i medicinträdgården, och i Pepshow fönstret visas Gang of Two av Karin Sandberg.
En akvarellutställning med titeln Far & Son pågår också på Gallery & More av konstnären Saber Rezgar Alipanah och Arvin Alipanah.
