Yeah you heard me right...
My friggin lightsaber!
An Ultrasaber, with a Manticore CE handle and amethyst blade color to be exact...
It's the real deal! Has several different sound fonts. Makes the classic power up and down sounds, when you wave it, and on clash. The hilt is made of nickel and the blade is okay for sparring as well. I would have to say it is one of the most fun gifts I have gotten in a very long time.
This gift was thanks to @earthlightrocks AKA: My mom for Christmas 2015 which ended up being one of the best Christmas' I have ever had.
As a huge Star Wars fan, it doesn't get much better than this. I always got little toy light sabers when I was a kid, but they were always pretty flimsy and fell apart the moment you wanted to actually PLAY with them. NOW it's different, I can play all I want, let my kids mess with it, and not worry about breaking it. Especially considering I know how much they cost yikes
My light saber is the highlight of my nerd collection, and will always be proudly displayed.

I could have walked you through some simple steps to create one. Come on, man. You're telling me you couldn't just bring that into your work and demand on the spot that your boss must battle you while someone records it? That's just free quality entertainment for your coworkers as well.
Really though, that thing is freaking rad, man! It looks way cooler than the Ultimate FX one I got for Christmas when I was a kid, haha! (Though, I still think those are pretty cool. I turned down getting an Xbox 360 that year so I could get one of those...Some of my friends still joke about that to this day, lol.)

Smart man. He doesn't want to scare the rest of your coworkers off with his Jedi skills. He'd be far too intimidating since he could start beating them at any moment with it.
That's cool that your boss would be down with that though, lol. If I had ever had a boss that was like that I would have been happy.
We all pitched in and got it for him last year for chirstmas. He cried a little bit. Its a replica of the anakin/luke/rey saber

OK, this is a really cool lightsaber. I have Luke's ForceFX one, the blue one, and sadly, my Vader one doesn'T work anymore. For some reason, I think it's the batteries that leaked. I'm not sure how to clean the inside so that new batteries can work.
Try to use some emory cloth or fine sandpaper and clean off any corrosion on the battery terminals. It may have harmed the circuit board but there may be hope!
Ok, I'll try that. Hopefully it's just a question of the corrosion blocking the connection with the battery. Fingers crossed.
