TRIP TO KANDALAMA | SRI LANKA.
We stayed a night in HERITANCE KANDALAMA which is a luxurious hotel in Kandalama.
I went with my family. It is in central province and it is a 5hours journey from Galle. So we were tired when we reach to the hotel and they welcome us with a fresh juice and a wet towel. So it was good for us as we were so tired. We get two rooms with a beautiful view of dambulla lake.
The speciality of this hotel is, the whole hotel is covered with trees to reduce the hotness as this area is very hot.
So we couldn’t feel any hotness in our room. I feel like I’m in Nuwara Eliya because I see beautiful mountains apart from the hotel. There was a fantastic view. We had the rooms with a jacuzzi and my first time I was in a jacuzzi with a view of dambulla lake. There were monkeys around the hotel and they come near to our room. I was little bit afraid but it was enjoyable.
Our dinner time was excellent. The meal was super luxurious and so tasty. My favourite part was the dessert. There were so many variations and I select few of them.
It was so delicious. There were music carols and a magic show in the night. It was so funny. In next day morning, the breakfast was so delicious and it was served on time.
We were expected to go to the pool but unfortunately it was closed due to the covid-19 pandemic situation.
We got our lunch and checkout from the hotel at 2PM. As I’m a nature lover I feel the environment a lot and I couldn’t realize that we were in Kandalama because we couldn’t feel any hotness in the hotel.
I recommend this hotel for all of you guys and this is a best place for nature lovers. Everyone can enjoy in this hotel.
Looks like you have enjoyed a lot in last year christmas season. Hotel surrounded by the mountains with all of these delicious food and a good service must be perfect. These captures are cool.
Wish for an ending of this pandemic soon so that people can travel again like this😍🙁.

I hope you had great full board experience with view of dambulla lake and its cold wind.
because of covid 19 every hotels swimming pools,gyms are close.Thats why they giving some offer price and discount.

Heritance Kandalama is a perfect destination for a wonderful vacay and your faces proved it well. This is one of luxurious hotel in Sri Lanka with lots of facilities.
I recently visited there and we really enjoyed its pool as you did. Natural beauty of the surrounding environment was breath taking and anybody who visited there, will definitely allured for it. ❤️

Another wonderful architectural design of architect Geoffrey Bawa. He emphasises the esthetical beauty of this wonderful building by using the surrounded trees. Heritage Kandalama is one of the hotels that follow the green building concept very well.
