Is it a crime to use Bid Bots?

in #bidbots8 years ago (edited)

Before taking your attention to this most discussed topic, I would like to wish myself happy 'One month of steeming'!

Let's now jump in to the subject. Is it a crime to use Bid Bots? .My answer is It depends.

I have the bad habit of breaking the barriers. So,I often go beyond the luxury of my 'home feed' to check the 'New' posts of the people whom I doesn't follow.Last week, while doing so,I stumbled upon a particular post. I was actually startled to see that post!

The particular post I'm talking about seemed super-special to me that the insights it carried made my mind blank for a moment.Tears rolled down my cheeks.I felt like I was in heaven. The post had already made some $25.00 or something within few minutes.I was humble. My vocabularies are insufficient to describe the man who made that post. The post read- Good Morning!!

Out of curiosity I visited his profile to gather more knowledge and get enlightened. Many of his posts were one-liners carrying strong messages of 'Good Morning' , 'Good Afternoon' , 'Good evening' and 'Good night'! They had never failed to secure atleast $20.00 worth of upvotes..I was embarrassed to see his great post out of all that read 'Hai' and made $30.00!

DO I USE BID BOTS?

Yes I do.Because I'm very new to this platform and I find it too difficult to get upvotes and the very much needed 'Reputation'.But I never make such craps to be considered as a blog and get upvotes.I put in efforts.Although I see myself as a student when it comes to the language 'English',I try my best to bring in flawless posts.Yes,I put in efforts of hours to make a post even if you think, you could have made it within minutes.

I have no plans to cash out the SBD's any soon. The very thing I'm going to give importance upon is to increase my steem power.Only then I will be able to give some fat upvotes to myself and other's posts if it deserve the uplift.

As I have no plans to cash out SBD's that I get as the rewards for my time and toil, I'm left with only option of powering up.But instead of Powering up directly,I usually make the use of Bid Bots.By doing so,I have three benefits.

  1. I will be able to give that initial uplift required to make my posts visible to others as my selfvote carries a power nothing but a big ZERO!

  2. I have to wait for another 7 days to get the investments back in my hands. When I get it, part of that rewards goes to SP and again solid SBD.I can invest it again in Bots to power up my account the same way.

  3. My reputation level increases as I get more powerful upvotes. This point still is in debate phase as many spammers abuse the bid bots and somehow manage to secure a reputation well above 50..I don't think I'm a spammer.I have the balls enough to call a spade a spade.I might have committed some mistakes when I was completely new here.but now, after gathering adequate knowledge, I'm not going to beg for upvotes. But I will try my best to promote my posts!

WOULD I RECOMMEND THE USE OF BID BOTS?

If you are a person who makes quality posts(There are a lot of tutorial posts as to how to make a quality post..Before venturing in,Read them) then there is no need to have a second thought on using bid bots.I highly recommend it as only then your post will get that needed visibility.Otherwise,it will be immersed among the crowd forever!

And to those who use the steemit just for the sake of earning some bucks and not to add any value to the community,I recommend the use of Bid bots too!

But by doing so, be true to yourself..Ask yourself whether the very post you have produced has the quality enough to get a huuugggggeee upvote. If it is disproportional, never venture into it..Make it minimal so as to keep your post away from the big eyes which has the power to nullify your account to nothing!

Happy steeming.

It's a completely public and open space to all members of the Steemit community who voluntarily choose to be there.

If you would like to delegate to the Minnow Support Project you can do so by clicking on the following links: 50SP, 100SP, 250SP, 500SP, 1000SP, 5000SP.
Be sure to leave at least 50SP undelegated on your account.

I used it too because no one else supported in my early days and it is also wise to use steem power delegation

I was also thinking about SP delegations..But where can I get it from..I know @minnowbooster is selling it..But where to get delegated as high SP as you hold..If not much, atleast 100SP?

i saved every bit and then went to blocktrades to lease sp and eventually, we will make more than what we used for leasing. Now it is even more profitable with 90 days delegation

I learned along the way that unless we have 500 sp, we wont be able to control how much we vote. People vote their own comments, posts etc and is ok as long as they also help others.

pls use internal market to buy steem power, dont use blocktrades because they have fee. click wallet, right click sbd and you will get market. use steem dollar to buy steem power slowly. otherwise just go to blocktrades and lease sp after you have saved sbd

Thank you for taking time and commenting these threads with detailed informations. You are so supportive to me! Thank you!
