How to Stick to Your Target Weight

in #health4 years ago

You may be tempted to just quit in frustration, when you don't make it to the end of your weight loss plan and you find out your efforts were not enough to reach your final goal. The most important thing is to stick to your plan, even though this can be hard at first.

1: Make a monetary commitment: Studies have shown that people that committed themselves to paying money for what they wanted when they did not reach their weight loss goals lost twice as much weight as those who did not make such a commitment. Set a goal (let's say that you will lose 20 lbs by the end of the year) and a certain amount of money you would pay if you failed to stick to your target (for example, 5 dollars per session if you did not complete your program), and then stick to it. You may be tempted to quit after reaching the goal, but do not. Stick to your program for at least a week or two, and see if your body will adjust itself.

2: Stay committed: In addition to making your financial commitment, you will also need to make a commitment to stick to the program. Once you've set the financial commitment, stick to it. You may decide that you would like to eat the healthy foods, work out more, or get the vitamins you need on your own, but if you quit you will be putting yourself at a disadvantage, and you will not be able to maintain your progress. Make sure that your schedule is very clear so that you know what your plans are and you can make them easier to stick to.

3: Don't let your time slip away: Sometimes we have to work around other commitments, but when you're on a weight-loss plan, there is no room for slacking. Keep your schedule as clear and simple as possible. When you do get the time to work out, make sure that you exercise the same muscles throughout your workout that you were doing when you were cutting the weight. Even if you feel tired at the end of your workout session, don't give up. keep going until you have completed your exercise.

4: Stick to your plan: If you do something wrong, try to learn from your mistake and make the necessary adjustments so that you can succeed again. Be honest with yourself and work at your mistakes. You may find that when you've learned from your first failure, you will not make the same mistake again.

5: Stay motivated: Keep in mind that when you stick to a plan, you are not working in isolation, but you are working together with other people. Working together will help you stay motivated. This will help you work smarter and faster, and you will find that it is more effective. To stick to the plan. Also, when you are working with other people you will learn about motivation and support each other when you make mistakes.

6: Stick to it even when the going gets tough: Sticking to a diet and exercise plan will not make it easy, but it is possible. Be patient. Sometimes, it is necessary to make small sacrifices to stick to your program. If the going is tough and you feel like you cannot keep going, try to think about what you would have done if the going was easier.

Following these steps will lead you to success, and a successful weight loss. Even if the journey takes a while, stick with it will all be worth it.
