Free BEOS during the BEOS Rainfall! Just successfully transferred BTS to BEOS
Just moved BTS into BEOS to take advantage of what will hopefully be a more user friendly platform, as well as the generosity of a BEOS Rainfall! Was relatively easy thanks to the tutorials of @stan, @michaelx, and @kus-knee, and of course @quinneaker for bringing this opportunity to my attention.
All 2.6 Billion of the publicly available BEOS tokens will be given away over a "rainfall" period of 89 days beginning a week from this posting on April 9th, 2019. All you have to do is move your bitshares onto the new BEOS chain and leave them sit there for up to 89 days to collect your corresponding share of the BEOS tokens proportional to the total number of BTS everybody deposits there. ~ Stan Larimer AKA @stan, BEOS Launches Today - Here's how to get yours!

So the fact that the cool people at GOE are taking part in the Beos project made me take notice. I'm like dayum...what am I missing out on? Since I use my bitshares on a daily basis to execute trades on the Bitshares DEX, I'm not sold on the idea of staking my Bitshares for any length of time, perhaps at the expense of missing out on Beos tokens that may or may not be worth more some time in the future. Maybe short sighted, but hard to argue with daily profits that get exchanged for Steem.
It took some concentration to get through the steps....and every time I push the key to send...my heart skipped a beat...but the difficulty makes the rewards greater and more BEOS for us!
