Ipad testing
I sold my soul and some kidneys and invested it in an iPad Pro. I really wanted to be able to draw digital without being stuck at my computer. I have a Wacom 13 hd for some years and still love it but I hate the wires. Thought a long time about it and wanted a Wacom but they are even more insanely priced....
Never though I would buy an apple product but after tons of reviews I made the decision. Most important was how the pencil draws.
I have been checking drawing apps for a while. I bought procreate instantly and is good but it lacks a stabilizer so drawing clean lines is annoying atm. Checked other apps too autodesk draw, adobe sketchbook and still deciding. Wish I could do trails on paid apps before buying.
Anyway I doodled something in Medibang and it works nice for linework. User interface sucks compared to procreate but I guess I have to work around it. I think procreate is good for painting and sketching but doing the style I’m used to is harder than I did on my Wacom with lazy nezumi. But maybe I’m too perfectionist on the smooth lines.

Website isn’t completely finished yet but now I’m kind of distracted lol. Glad I can do some doodling again.
Well I hope I find the right apps and get good at it. Being able to draw digital on couch or in bed or anywhere else feels like at investment. But I’m not going to try my insane huge project on this as it will probably explode XD
Maybe going to post some procreate paintings in the feature...

Give Clip Studio Paint a spin too. Interface isn’t optimized for tablet, it’s pretty much a direct port of the desktop software, and it’s a subscription price model... those are the cons... But it’s pretty powerful, good stabilizers and brush tools, vector ink layers, etc.
Yeah I looked at that one but passed it as it is monthly pay instead of one time. Medibang does an ok job and it's free. But seeing so many artists using procreate I probably should not be so focused on perfect lines XD
Wish I could do trails too for example affinity designer.

I do use Clip Studio myself, but I really like Procreate too and could see myself potentially moving to it full time. Also, Procreate does have a stabilization type feature. Check brush settings/stroke/streamline and play around with that if you haven’t. At high settings I feel like it moves my lines around a bit much but there may be a good middle ground.
Yeah I did found the streamline and still tweaking it. Maybe some other options could help too there are a lot of them. Probably need to practice more on my lines/strokes :)
Well it would save you the monthly subscription. ;)

Yeah I really hope so @trincowski now it feels like a step back as I'm not used to it and the programs but I'm able to draw more so I hope to eventually be good with this beast :D
Well maybe you needed it (Ipad) badly that you had to sell some of your valuables in order to get.
I hope there will never be a gregret based on the descion you took and you will reep your investment soonest.
