Defining a Country

What defines a country? Is it the geography or the terrain that has formed it? Or the colossal landscape which it is famous for? Or may be the pristine river beds which are yet untouched. Or is it defined by its government and the rules that they have set across the nation? Or is it their extensive culture and the colorful attire they put up to celebrate their festivals? Or is known by its language, beliefs, religion or great mythological stories? Well, I don't know the correct answer to this . What I do know is while coming back to India from Bhutan, I had a smile on my face while reminiscing the moment when this little stranger folded her hands with subtlety to greet a foreigner in her country, which made me believe that a country is best known by its people and nothing else.
