Working With Your Gifts

A few days ago, we took a look at some ways someone can discover their unique gifts. We considered a few points like - discovering what you have passion for and what you are engraced to do effortlessly. We also considered people's opinion. But here, we will look at ways to bring the gifts to practical usage.

First of all, you have to believe in the gift. What you do not believe in, you will not have the zeal to pursue after. Also you need to believe in yourself and your abilities to hit your set goals even against all odds.

After doing all "believing", there is a need to run with your belief. Set targets for yourself (reasonable targets) and also have a timeframe to actualize the target - this will give you the necessary boost to get yourself working towards the actualization of your targets.

Even if you run short of the set targets, do not give up but give it another trial; but this time, try to do it differently. Try a different approach and a different method. Of course, it is wisdom not to do something the same old method/approach and hope to have a different output. Your output is always a direct function of your input.

Do not be afraid of failure when you are pursuing your targets. Failures are used by conquerors as stepping stones for greater achievement.

Sometimes, failure can be a small setback that will have the propensity to set the pace that will initiate a better and bigger comeback. Just like Confucius once said:

Our glory is not in not falling, but in rising each time we fall - Confucius

This should also be your motivation. Falling at the first attempt is not the worst thing that can happen to a man but remaining in the place he fell. So guys, it is time to rise up and make our lives to count.
