On this occasion I will tell you about one of the activities that has become my favorite hobby since 2016. Exactly since I moved and have my own house. As a woman, of course, cleaning the house is something I usually do. But I have a passion in the field of home decoration.

I often shift the furniture in my house to get a different ambiance. Besides that, I also like to rearrange the decorations of the rooms in my house by changing the existing decor knick-knacks. Then as a decoration reference, I started to join the Indonesian homedecorlovers community.

It was from the community on Instagram that I met virtually with friends who have the same decorating hobby as me, which is decorating homes, we share inspiration with each other and participate in home decorating challenges that are held almost every week by home decor influencers. I learned a lot from friends in the community. With all the limitations of the decoration items that I have, I also try to explore my ability to rearrange. Until slowly I was able to collect some decoration items, which are sometimes also given by my friends as gifts.

From these activities I then learned about how to decorate a room by myself. Not infrequently in a week I can change the decoration of one room spot in my house with a different theme.
Here I show the results of the decorations that I did myself in my house in one of the spots in the living room. I changed the sofa cover and changed the wallpaper on the walls of my living room so that the feel was different. I also added wall decor and other decorative items. To strengthen the color concept, I changed the cushion cover according to the decoration theme that I applied.

I decorated the room decorations in the living room using different decorating themes, which I adjusted to the decorative knick-knacks that I had.
Among them, I applied the decor concept with the natural theme, the monochrome decoration concept, the tropical decor concept, the bohemian decor concept

Another room in my house that I also decorate is the dining room. I also applied several decorating concepts in the room by mixing and matching the decoration items that I had, such as, rug, cushion cover, blanket, vases, artificial flower and indoor plant***. Everything is left for me to mix and match so that it produces a different feel to the room than before.

Because in my opinion we are diligent with resisting the room then we can also tidy up and improve. When a room is neat and clean then there is separate satisfaction. Aplai the results of our decoration are loved by the residents of the house, namely family. So they feel comfortable and comfortable at home. For me the atmosphere of the room in a fresh, comfortable and aesthetic house will have a positive effect and make the mood better and be able to provide energy to the residents. Even though I have to admit sometimes it requires extra energy and a long time when decorating the room. But even though I'm tired I still like my hobby. Because by doing this hobby I feel happy.
