Lhoksukon(Aceh) - Babinsa from Koramil 1709-02 / Yaptim Serda Ramadhan Letsoin and Serda Agus Ompusunggu help the community to create irrigation channels for one hectare of land owned by Silas Korano, in Kampung Nusembai, Lhoksukon District, Province Aceh.
Serda Ramadhan said that the program to increase food self-sufficiency is not only emphasized on agricultural land, but also supporting facilities such as irrigation channel development which also has a very vital role in agriculture.
Besides as an oncoran supporter (irrigated rice field), irrigation channels also serve to divide the flow of water into each field so that farmers have no difficulty in obtaining water to irrigate their fields.
While working, Serda Ramadhan Letsoin appealed to the residents, for the construction of irrigation that has been built together to always be maintained, so that the main function of the irrigation can be achieved in the success of food self-sufficiency in the Lhoksukon, especially in Lhoksukon.
"Hopefully, by making this irrigation, we can help Mr. Silas Korano in preparation for the future planting period, and hopefully through the work of making water irrigation works to strengthen the unity of Koramil and the people and can cultivate soul and spirit of "mutual cooperation", he said.
