Getting Real
I've started to think about the future in earnest after some job opportunities have presented themselves. It's not what I would love to do most, but realistically, I need money--we all do. I may end up giving up on my dreams of traveling and playing music for a few years while I stack some money away.
Don't me wrong: I am indeed anticipating a sign, and my hopes in the future haven't dwindled a bit. However, I can't wait for forever because I'll not be able to eat after another month of taking payouts from Steemit. (Plus, what happened to that bull run that was supposed to have already begun, huh? haha!) I have begun to accept that in order to live, we must supply energy to the living. I am by no means saying that Steem or Steemit is dead, but let's be honest, it's definitely not thriving either. Right now, I want to be buying mad quantities of Steem so that I can become a Steem millionaire like many others before me.
With that in mind, it seems most logical to double down on getting better at creating music and make my dreams come true instead of waiting on them to magically come true on their own--even if that means I need to spend a few more years patiently waiting. The past 7 months have been a dream of sorts, and I thank you all and God for this habit I love so, so much. I've grown a ton from staying consistent. My music has also begun to reach another level. I don't know of many people that have created well over 150 unique pieces of music within 7 months, so I'm celebrating this moment knowing that persistence and diligence will bring great reward in the end.
Thank you all for your overwhelming support. Thank you for the heartfelt messages and comments and encouragement. I hope you will continue to open up to me as my friends because I cannot do this alone.
The Path Ahead
Before saying goodbye for today, I would love to share with you my idea of why things, such as waiting for the crypto bulls, can sometimes take much longer than we think. The answer lies in the universal law of cause and effect. More specifically, balance in the collective consciousness must be achieved before any significant progress can be made again. The process of cause and effect brings universal justice, meaning that if you miss out on something the first time, you will get a second chance. However, the time it takes to achieve balance in the collective consciousness may require great patience. So, if you are like me and wondering why all of this hard work isn't paying off like you imagined it would, it's because the minds of the world are still coming to grips with what happened in December of 2017. Us forward-thinking, innovative types just want the progression to continue going because we are invested and eager to have the future we envisioned, which was almost within our grasp. Now--more than ever before--we must be vocal about STEEM and what it could do for the world. Also, it wouldn't hurt to re-evaluate our motives and desires for when we do eventually become millionaires so that we use our wealth wisely for things that will be of mutual benefit to our fellow man/woman.
I'm not saying I am right in what I'm about to say, but it seems highly probable to me that we will see another opportunity to buy bitcoin for less than $2,500. I hasten to say what a bitcoin price of $2,500 will do for the price of STEEM. However, our lives WILL get better one way or another. Sometimes the hard way is the only way, and those who are up for the challenge will benefit in more lasting ways than people who get instantly rich and then squander it.
