As of late there's been very few ICO's that have interested me. Two of those which did however are the PinkDate ICO and the ViceToken ICO which is going to run on the Steemit Blockchain.

I had initially decided not to invest in PinkDate because the team is anonymous and I didn't like the $1500 minimum investment on a speculative ICO. They've since lowered it to $500, however now that makes me not want to invest because it shows they were having trouble getting investors and are having to drop the investment to get people in so I've decided not to invest in PinkDate.

The other ICO I've been interested in is ViceToken. I like that it runs on the Steemit blockchain, I like the idea of getting paid to watch porn, and I think the porn industry is one ripe for a shakeup. Where as many ICO's are focusing on industries that won't really be benefited by an ICO or blockchain technology, the adult industry or porn industry is one that I think would benefit from creators and consumers being paired directly and cutting out middlemen, so from that angle I thought this idea and this token had some utility.

I was initially on the fence about investing if for no other reason than I've heard Steem holders are going to get air-dropped tokens. I have a decent amount of Steem so even without throwing my own money in I already have a chance to have some stake in this. None the less I was still open to investing. I don't see this being an ICO people are clammering to get into, I don't see this being an ICO which is going to start GAS wars among people to get in so that also is a bit of a turnoff, however when I received my e-mail earlier today telling me the whitelist had opened and click this link to buy, I clicked the link, but was just taken to the regular ViceToken site, not a white list site.

After being confused about what the heck was going on for about 5 minutes, I checked out their Telegram group and see a message saying...

Anyhow, as I mentioned, I was already kind of on the fence about getting involved in this ICO. Seeing as how they are having trouble with the white list sale I'm going to take that as my sign to just not get involved with this one. If I wind up getting airdropped tokens for holding Steem awesome I hope they do well, but I'm not going to be putting my own money into this ICO.

The updates on the delay haven't been incredibly well communicated. I wound up posting in the group, not spreading FUD, but simply saying I'm bowing out of this ICO, looking forward to the airdrop and I wish the team and investors the best of luck on this project, and within seconds of me posting this the admins banned me from the group.

After seeing this I'm incredibly happy I didn't invest in this project. Any ICO who needs to censor comments in the Telegram group is not a team I want to be involved in.
