POEM: RIVERSTILL
See my love,
not as morning sight
where the blur obscures
the dawn's blue bite
where the wooden floors
spill their cold winter chill
may you see me in my love, Riverstill
may you see me
as I am and not just
how you want me
may you see my intent
whether targeted or shifting
the pull of the bow
brings me closer to,
the us I've yet know
may you see me in my love, Riverstill
I know you love to rush
and push through dipping days
sometimes in currents
friends look distant in passing
sometimes I know you
see my hurt without asking
may you see me in my love, Riverstill
when I have gone so far
that my face is forgotten
and forethought flesh
fades into everlasting
when you look at where I stood
and the places I would go for you
may you see me...
