POEM: DESCEND & PRETEND
I am looking
for a snowy word
in a frosty phrase
The word
descending in a gentle
oscillation
So that in
partaking and listening
a little
I am full
and speedy as my troubles are
belittled
It was a party of pens
links and ink
When we pretend,
we flow
How you descend
and how I think
Becomes a game
and paper show
We share the page
learning
From ourselves
and the best
You asked if I
wouldn't mind
Adding
another character
And, of course,
I said, "Yes."
