First, the biggest story once again was Kanye West. He mentioned bitcoin in a clip and everyone on Crypto Twitter was turning perma bull.

Billionaire Peter Theil
Next up was Peter Theil's announcement that his Founder's Fund was investing in Tagomi Systems Inc.

Tagomi expects to be the bitcoin version of a broker-dealer, executing orders to buy or sell cryptocurrencies on behalf of wealthy individuals and family offices, according to people with knowledge of the firm’s plans.

Most of you know where I stand on this, I'm very nervous about it. Being an American the last thing I want to do is be involved with a coin/coins that are deemed securities. I am hoping for the sake of all crypto that the SEC let's ETH slide, fuck XRP.

It's always nice to have more than one source to buy coins from. Abra is one of those sources. I don't think ETH is going to get labelled security. At least I hope not
If it did it would take all ERC-20 tokens down with it. That would be very bad. They may chose the lesser XRP and set an example.
What disadvantages of Americans have in this case?
I am being a bit paranoid here. Americans fall under American law, SEC, CFTC, etc. Foreigners could care less.
