THE LATEST STEEMIT CENTURION

In the ancient Roman Army, a centurion is a commander, who is in charge of and commands a troop of one hundred (100) soldiers, and it is a very prestigious rank, one that comes with a lot of respect and at the same time responsibilities.

I decided to import the rank of Centurion to Steemit. A Steemit Centurion is one who has gathered a followership of up to One Hundred Persons/Accounts

Today I am celebrating my decoration with the new rank of Steemit Centurion as I just hit 100 followers. To some persons it might seem to be a common achievement, but to me I value this achievement so much, and so I celebrate it.

It has not been an easy ride, I still write articles and see rewards of a few cents, but then having hit this achievement, and most importantly, achieving this great feat without soliciting for followership from anyone, tells me that at least I have been adding some value to the Steemit community.

Before hitting this achievment, I am happy to have started the journey towards achieving some of my dreams here on Steemit, and for this I am happy. Some of these dreams include:

This project is aimed at spreading the message of Steemit within my locality and getting more people to join the Steemit block chain.

This project is aimed at giving back to the society, affecting lives positively through Steemit and so it is targeted at the less privileged in the society, gibpving them a better life and sharing love with them using my Steemit profits.

Although these projects are moving at a slow pace right now, I know that with support from the Steemit community soon enough these projects would boom and achieve the desired results .

I also want to celebrate a few men who have inspired me here on Steemit and they include @surpassinggoogle @donkeypong @ejemai @gloglo @surfyogi @familyprotection, just to mention a few, although I may not know these people on a personal basis, yet one way or the other, their stories, their selflessness and their sacrifices have been a great source of inspiration to me here on Steemit.
