Hmmm... What happened to your army of comments you used to get on posts?

lol i stopped giving away bonuses 😂
i'm focussing on youtube now

They had quite some perseverance, I mean they made it through 100+ posts of Unity Tutorials 😁

To be honest, I just watched few of your videos, but you inspired me: I'm thinking of doing something with Godot for quite some months now (but of course I never find enough motivation to actually start it), I might also start blogging about my journey while learning Godot (just articles though, I'm much better at communicating my ideas in written form than by making videos).

How is it going on YouTube? Do you think you have much more reach than here on Steem?

i'm getting so much more views on youtube + organic reach. it's not surprising coming from the biggest platform on earth (i don't believe in fb). people asking questions, commenting, pointing out bugs, etc, gives me more motivation to keep making videos.

i love godot but i think unity is still the best choice. it could all change in a few years tho, and godot might be what blender is to 3dsmax.

i think steem has a lot of potential but right now it's dirtier and more centralized than fb. yes it's built on a blockchain but everything is centered around stinc & ned, way more than than fb to zuckerberg.

i'll continue to post on steem but unless the community finds a way to get rid of the ninja mined steem, this platform has no future.

Cool :)
I'm curious to see, how Steem evolves after HF21 and HF22. A quick look at the trending page shows, that the quality of posts there didn't drastically improve. Encouraging to find good content on Steem is one thing, but the problem that there isn't enough good content on here persists. I think, that the 50/50 split is counterproductive when it comes to motivating people to publish content and new content creators to join.
About the future of Steem: if there is no altcoin bull market coming within the next one or two years, it looks rather grim.

Godot was released 5 years ago, Unity 14 years ago, that's quite a head start for Unity. I also would really like to see it picking up some momentum, because from what I can tell, it seems to be a pretty good engine. It is also open source, which is a huge plus, at least in my opinion :)

yea hf21/22 is NOT gonna improve quality for sure. steem is now rewarding whale circle jerking more than ever. censorship-resistance and decentralization still hasn't been proven.

godot is late but unity is now a big company with idiotic decision making so godot still has a good chance, especially considering how godot has improved so much recently and is opensource. i think you're absolutely right. and a lot could change within the next few years.

Let's see in which direction Steem will develop, but I for one am not as optimistic as I was just one year ago.

i feel the same way. i'm spending less time on steem now. i'm still waiting for a decentralized and cencorship-resistant platform. and steem is certainly not it, at least not yet.

anyways man it's good to see you again here 😎 👋

whatever form you are comfortable with, i see value in sharing your content online. lemme know when you get started cuz i'd love to see it!

Even though I'm not as positive about Steem's future, as I was a year ago, I'm still here 😀

Knowing myself, it will still take a few months, before I will actually start with it 😅

Not me, lol. Been too busy with my project and been going thru shits with Steem gave us recently. Glad to see you still doing what you are doing, it seems like it may take much much longer than I would expect before you officially release the game haha. You are still working on this project, full time as before?

Thanks for using eSteem!
