DailyCelestialChallenge Sunday-Light (let the light in you shine)
Have you ever thought that one candle does not lose its brilliant power when it lights another?
The ability to share its light is limited only by the time it stays on.
When Jesus said:
"You are the light of the world," he did it with the knowledge that we possess an unlimited Source of Light, the inner Christ.
Like a lit candle, each of us can bless an incalculable number of people thanks to our Inner Light. We are able to help many people with our love and our light, without diminishing in the least way our Source. Frequently, we offer light to other souls without being aware of it. When we least expect it, some gesture or simple word illuminates the life of a person, and without losing even a little of our light.
When we allow the Light of God to shine through us freely and unconditionally, we are truly "the light of the world."
"Make your light shine before all" (Matthew 5:16)
