My name is Roop and thanks to BlackRussian voting on my posts I have had the fortune to hopefully be accepted as a contributing member of this community.
I've shunned social media in the past due mainly because of not wanting to broadcast my entire life in order for it to be profiled by the secutity services or to help potential employers pass judgement etc and also because i don't believe people should or do care what i had for breakfast.
I came to Steemit after hearing about it from the Dollarvigilante to whom i subscribe.
I am one of I'm sure like minded people such as yourselves who thought I could peach some truths (as i humbly see them) to anyone who'd listen in order to help pull the wool from their eyes and earn some potential income from doing so.
However after spending mental effort in earlier posts it soon became apparent at least in my experience so far that the reward versus the effort are very unbalanced and I've stated to become disillusioned with Steemit.
BlackRussian's introductory post re-this community where he states as a syndicate if you will we could all upvote each others posts as long as they are quality has rekindled my original intention.
So I will attempt to post only good material here and upvote all members as often as I can.
Good luck to you all and now I'll settle down to read some of your posts.

Welcome @roop I know it's tough but you just have to be actively engaged with as many people as time permits. It's taken me 2 months of work to get where I am and many of the people who I have meet in this time are growing at about the same rate, some faster and some a little slower. But that's the price you have to pay. Cheers my friend and start pumping out some posts for us to read.

Roop I had to Resteem this post not only because you mention my name, but for your truth and honesty - I've read a number of your posts and have been extremely impressed with your knowledge and insight that's why I upvoted them - personally I do countless hours reading/researching on the internet, in books, I even buy and read daily newspapers, and the main reason I'm hooked on steemit is the quality and level of information being posted here is on another level, its authentic and True - not superficial fakery like the MSM or MSN - Keep steemin @Roop we need your inspiration.
