Esta passagem em Port Hope, Ontário cobre a MacDonald–Cartier Freeway, conhecida como "a 401", cerca de 170 quilômetros a leste de Toronto.

Sempre que soldados canadenses tombados em batalha voltam para a Base das Forças Canadenses em Trenton, Ontário, esta cena se repete ao longo dos 172 quilômetros da Rodovia 401 entre Trenton e Toronto.
Oficialmente conhecida como "Rodovia dos Heróis", este caminho marca a solene jornada dos soldados e de suas famílias ao Centro de Ciências Forenses em Toronto e a preparação para seu lugar final de descanso.
A Royal Canadian Mint homenageia aqueles que morreram por seu país com este 2011 $10 CAD pesando 15,87g com 99,99% de pureza de prata e acabamento Proof.
Sua tiragem foi de 7.732 unidades e seu preço de lançamento foi de $69,95 CAD.
O desenho do reverso foi do Major Carl Gauthier em colaboração com o gravador Stan Witten da Royal Canadian Mint. Os lucros desta moeda suportam caridades militares.
O obverso mostra a conhecida imagem da Rainha Elisabete II, desenhada por Susanna Blunt.

The Royal Canadian Mint sure does some nice work! I just wish they didn’t charge such huge premiums otherwise I’d buy more from them!

I only buy products of RCM two or three years after they start selling them. I buy on Ebay and I usually pay from 50% to 70% of the issue price. All the Canadian coins in my articles were bought on Ebay.
