# 489 - Canadian Commemoratives - Part 4
In 2005-2006 the Royal Canadian Mint issued a series called "National Parks Series" showing some of the many Canadian national parks.
Each coin weights 31.39g (1.01oz) with 99.99% silver purity and Proof finish.
Today we will see the 2006 $20 Georgian Bay Islands National Park (Ontario). Its mintage was 20,218 units and the issue price was $69.95 CAD.

The more and more that I learn about your collection of commemorative coins, my awareness and appreciation of these coins increase, and the more I am enthused to start collecting coins! I shall be a coin collector of these inexpensive US modern commemoratives to start.
