# 17 - My Aviary
Continuing our trip to my mini Zoo, we are now reaching my Aviary.
Starting in 2014, RCM (Royal Canadian Mint) has been issuing a series called "Birds of Prey" that focuses on Canadian birds.
They are bullion coins, weighting 1oz and with purity 99.99%.
Till now only six coins were minted, depicting four of the Canadian birds of prey. The other two coins show us two of the birds, but in a Reverse Proof way.
First we will see the 2014 Peregrine Falcon, the 2016 Peregrine Falcon Reverse Proof and the 2015 Great Horned Owl.
These are the obverses of the Uncirculated and the Reverse Proof coins.
Now we will see the 2014 Bald Eagle, the 2017 Bald Eagle Reverse Proof and the 2015 Red Tailed Hawk.
The obverses are the same as shown above.
When we talk about Birds of Prey we must talk about the Klingon's Birds of Prey. Unfortunately no Mint in the world has issued such a coin, that I know.
To compensate it, Tuvalu issued in 2016 a bullion coin 1oz , silver 99.9% commemorating the Star Trek 50th Anniversary, showing the Enterprise.
