# 141 - Lexington-Concorde
Continuing our series of the American Half Dollars Commemoratives, we will today present the 1925 "Lexington-Concord".
As all the commemorative half dollars, it weights 12,5g with a 90% silver purity.
This coin commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, which took place in Massachusetts between American patriots and British soldiers on April 19, 1775, the day after Paul Revere's famous ride.
On the reverse we see the Minute Man statue.
The obverse depicted the Old Belfry, which alerted the Minute Man to action in 1775, at Lexington.
A total of 162,013 coins were distributed. The actual price is around U$325.00 in this grade.
