Discussions On Discord Ghana Radio Show On 10th October

It’s weekend again and today we as usual had our sundays discord meeting. During this meeting we were able to touch on some important stuffs that will elevate the way we promote steem. Some of which include;

• Joining our accounts together to sustain ourselves

• Promo activities that went on during the week

• Introduction of promo ID cards

Weeks ago we talked about how we can sustain ourselves without actually have to depend on the curators and booming upvotes. This was a good idea which will help us in the long run. Before this is possible and active all memebrrs needs to power up little by little atleast to help grow so the upvote will be encouraging.

The host gave chance to individuals who organized or made any promo activity during the week. A lot of people spoke what they did. Macarni shared to us how she organized her colonies females on a conference call to discuss their challenges so she could see how she can help them. During her speech she spoke how interactive it was and they really engaged into the topics they brought on board.

Lastly, @awuahbenjamin who brought the suggestion to introduce ID cards for promo steem members. We all see it necessary as it gives us the feeling of belonging to the community and also helps us to promote steem whenever we find ourself in a place where we are not equipped with fliers, banners etc. Atleast the ID card could help us out.

Before we ended the meeting both Ghana and Nigeria country representatives introduced us to their weekly contests and challenge.

@mcsamm who introduced Steemit Gift Challenge which is about gifting people around us with steemit branded items. Doesn’t really matter what the gift have to be, it should have steemit brand on it and also a steemian can gift any number of item they can and receive rewards for each item given. @nattybongo who also introduced the Promo Friday where we have to make promote steem by wearing our T shirt, editing people about steem etc. To read more about this challenge click here

And also @ngoenyi introduced ShoutOut Thursday which is a challenge to wear a steemit shirt and go out to spread steemit to our neighbors and loved once. It is not necessarily means to sign them up but to let them know what steemit is about. In my opinion the most important thing is to get investors into the blockchain. Click here to read more.
