Demonstration, between freedom and responsibility

Some time recently in Indonesia there were demonstrations with various demands. During the demonstration the participants seemed to lose patience so that freedom of expression of opinions sometimes crossed the line. As a result, there was a dispute that could lead to riots. The participants who could actually be used as agents of change were finally involved in the fray against the security forces. The police on duty are lured with stones and sentences that are not appropriate. Aren't they in charge of protecting the security of the demonstrators? at the start they are usually able to carry out the demonstration safely. However, when the time limit is exceeded and participants do not want to disperse are usually very vulnerable to be infiltrated by rioters.

Free but responsible

Demonstration leaders should be able to organize the participants. The participants must also be aware that their freedom of opinion also has a limit. the bricks are don't reach their freedom and interfere with other people's freedom.
It means that when the demonstration they are free to give input and criticism to the government. They may submit various demands according to conscience. however, they must also be aware that other people's rights are disturbed. Other rights to use public facilities. the rights of the drivers who took their time because they had to find an alternative way. other people's right to go to the place around the demonstration area.
For this reason, all parties must be able to work together so that the protesters' demands can be known but not to disturb others.

Damage

When there is demonstration with thousands of participants, it will be very easy to provoke. if there is one person who starts to damage public facilities then it will usually be very controlled. Especially if there is a commotion with the police. Usually it will continue and there can be widespread riots.
The large number of domonstration participants who are usually used by provocateurs to provoke riots. Unfortunately, the demonstrators did not realize that they were being pitted with the police. Vulnerability like this must be realized by everyone. The officers were also asked to remain patient in facing the insults from the demonstration participants. Because if the police are provoked to retaliate with physical force, the demonstrators will become even more angry.
All people must be able to maintain good conditions so that demonstrations run well, demands are delivered, and no facilities are damaged.

eberapa waktu terakhir di Indonesia terjadi demonstrasi dengan berbagai tuntutan. Saat demontrasi para peserta seolah kehilangan kesabaran sehingga kebebasan mngemukakan penapat terkadang melewati batas. Akibatnya, terjadi kricuhan yang bisa menjurus pada kerusuhan. Para peserta yang sebenarnya bisa dijadikan sbagai agen perubahan akhirnya terlibat dalam keributan melawan petugas keamanan. Polisi yang bertugas dipancing dengan lemparan batu dan kalimat yang tidak sepantasnya. Bukankah mereka bertugas menjaga keamanan demonstran? saat awal biasanya mereka masih bisa menjalankan unjuk rasa dengan aman. Namun, saat batas waktu dilampaui da peserta tidak mau membubarkan diri biasanya sangat rentan untuk dsusupi oleh para perusuh.

Bebas tapi bertanggung jawab

Semestinya para pemimpin demonstrasi harus bisa mengatur para peserta. Para peserta juga harus sadar bahwa kebeasan mereka berpendapat juga ada batasnya. batasanya adalah jangan samapai kebebasan mereka juga mengganggu kebebasan orag lain.
Maksudnya saat demonstrasi mereka bebas memberikan masukan dan kritik kepada pemerintah. Mereka boleh mengajukan berbagai tuntutan sesuai hati nurani. namun, mereka juga harus sadar bahwa ada hak orang lain yang terganggu. Hak orag lain untuk memnggunakan fasilitasn umum. hak para pengemudi yang tersita waktunya karena harus mencari jalan alternatif. hak orang lain untuk menuju tempat di sekitar daerah demonstrasi.
Untuk itulah, semua pihak harus bisa saling bersinergi sehingga tunutan pendemo bisa diketahui tapi tidak sampai mengganggu orang lain.

Kerusakan

Saat terjadi demonnstrasi dengan peserta ribuan orang akan sangat mudah diprovokasi. jika ada salah satu oknum peserta yang kemudian memulai merusak fasilitas umum maka biasanya akan jadi sangat dikendalikan.Apalagi jika terjadi keributan dengan polisi. Biasanya akan berlanjut dan bisa terjadi kerusuhan yang luas.
Banyaknya peserta domonstrasi yang biasanya dimanfaatkan oleh provokator untuk memancing kerusuhan. Sayangnya, para demonstran tidak sadar bahwa mereka sedang diadu dengan polisi. Kerentanan seperti ini harus disadari oelh semua orang. Para petugas juga diminta tetap bisa sabar menghadapi paancingan dari para peserta demonstrasi. Sebab jika polisi terpancing untuk membalas dengan kekuatan fisik maka para demonstran akan semakin kalap.
Semua orng harus bisa menjaga kondisi tetap baik agar demontrasi berjalan baik, tuntutan tersampaikan, fasilitas tidak ada yang dirusak.
