I notice dichotomy in my own outlook. Sometimes so fully immersed in experience and sometimes just foolishly ignore-ant. Overall progress is slower average line drawn through the peaks and troughs.
Life always gives two side and the Two sides are always positive and negative, so it all depends on which side you choose. For me I choose the positive side.
