What is the Big Deal about People Giving Themselves Upvotes for Their Own Work and Creation ??
I just never could grasp the problem with this. The other week @theycallmedan was called out for upvoting
his own blog/vlog Post. Iam thinking this guy already does so much for the Community , and he has every right to do what he wants with his stake. He has been so generous to so many Steemians. He goes up and beyond on our Block Chain
Now of course if someone upvotes their own posts and all their own Comments and rewards very little to anyone else.....then yeah that is a problem. Or if someone posts a cat pic from Pixabay with a sentence then upvotes it...yeah that may be construed as spamming
But generally speaking I just do not see the trouble with upvoting your own Content (Posts that is) that you worked hard to produce and create.

I agree with you on this one.
I personally don't have a problem with people upvoting their original content posts but like you said, upvoting their own comments or not rewarding anybody else in the community/just rewarding their own tight cirle - that is not cool at all.

I don't see a problem for most people since their upvote is like less than 10cents.
For whales it might be an issue since they can upvote any shit post for a few dollars but I suppose it's fair since they have placed their stake at risk.
Yeah @charcoalbuffet that last part a lot of people have problems with. It will be a debate probably forever on our block chain
I am not opposed to upvoting your own post. I think upvoting your own comments is crossing a line. However, if you are never spreading your stake around to the community and only just upvoting yourself I think there is a problem with that. At a minimum people should stop supporting you. It doesn't necessarily mean you should be banned or labeled an abuser, but I would hope people would just wise up and stop visiting or upvoting your posts.
