Muscles Sore, Heart Full.
Another day, another.. big pile of wood. I would rather spend a weekend working hard making sure we have our basic needs sorted - fire, vegetables, chooks - than pen pushing all week.
Spent Saturday cutting more wattle down in reserve. No one can get in there but us, coz we have a really narrow Suzuki carry that can drive between council barriers.
Our wood shed was a mess. We cleaned it up and took some of the east wall down so we could drive the ride on mower and push mower in and out of weather. Its so much better now.
Weeded the garlic patch and started a new compost pile. Took a big trailer load of crap to dump. Got the scrap metal guy in to fill a skip. Spring cleaning is fun. I like a minimalist life. Cant take this shit with you when you go.
Tomorrow is potato planting.
This afternoon is gin and tonic in the sunshine time, before the weather turns bad next week. My muscles are sore but heart is full.
Probably one of the shortest posts I've written. No one is posting, no one is reading. Meh. Also, can't be dealing with tokens. It's a madhouse out there.

I would almost forget that it's Winter in Australia, although, here in The Netherlands, it's about 18 degrees and rainy ( weather will improve soon though ) and I was literally cold, yesterday night, walking through Amsterdam. It felt like Autumn.
Much love and overall good vibes from @yangyanje - still hanging out with this guy :>) - and me. We're still here and ( walking on ) working on awesome stuff.
I cant wait to see what you guys come up with. Its cold here too. Often, when we are both in seasonal transition, we have the same whether. Except right now at 6 am its 8 degrees and rainy!

That was one busy day. Moving the wood alone would have done me in. :))
We have a huge metal scrap pile behind the barn, and every so often my husband says"I must get the scrap guy to haul it away..." But does he call him? Sigh...
Haha!! Is scrap worth much at yours ? Its not worth the load for us but the scrap metal guy dumps a skip for free which does require us loading it. Much neater though. Xx

Oh you are not no one to me! Thanks for your comment. Cheered me up. Yeah we love the fact they didn't measure for Suzuki utes haha. They are so narrow. It runs so badly and we have to keep it running otherwise we cant get the wood haha. Most people that walk past thank.us for tidying up and removing fire hazards but I am not sure what the council would say haha. Its not even road legal!!
