Weekly Report As Steem Representative - [ 13 August - 19 August ]
Greetings,
It is my weekly report as Steem Representative. I will report my activities for the last 7 days in this post.
My Activity In this Week::
- I checked my community posts, commented, guided users, and submitted booming reports for both communities.
- I have curated community-eligible posts with the @steem4bangladesh community account and checked community posts.
- I have given suggestions and guidelines to new community users and made 38 comments including moderation.
- I worked as a Greeter and checked achivement tasks in the newcomer community.
- I reviewed traveling steem community posts and curated posts with the @travelingsteem community account.
Community Activity Update
As a greeter, I've been trying to check posts from new members of the community regularly. Since all the previous rules have been discarded, I've been guiding newcomers on how to create progress reports according to the new guidelines. Many newcomers don't understand many rules of the Steemit platform, so I explain various topics to them through messaging on Discord.
It's been almost two years since our community was formed. We've met many times virtually on Discord, but we still haven't had a live meetup in person. We were not able to meet up as Steemians across Bangladesh live in different sections. So, we organized a meeting with our leadership team on Sunday. We have decided that leaders will organize their own departmental meetups where full support from the community will be provided. So far @ mostofajaman , @ pea07 , and (@ enamul17, @ mdkamran99, @ shiftitamanna together) have been finalized for three meetups in their respective areas. In the coming days, we intend to organize a meetup of our leadership team in the capital city of Dhaka.
As per my schedule, I have completed reviews in the communities I oversee.
This is our community booming report. I created this week's booming report for both of the communities. We admins nominated qualified posts from community users. This is the Booming Report post for both of the communities.
My Power Up
This week I power up 61 Steem. From the beginning, I was more interested in power-up. So I power up regularly. Now my current steem power is 61,665.
Post Curation Report
Throughout this week, I have curated 207 posts. I have curated a total of 147 author's posts. I always try to curate the active posts of more users along with the Newcomer Task, Native community Post, and Good Post from different communities so that they are more interested in posting.
