Greetings Steemit Team,

I am very excited to submit my May Individual Curator Competition application post. Thanks, Steemit Blog for giving us this golden opportunity. This is my Application for Community Curator for July 2023.

A brief summary of your history on Steem:

I joined this amazing platform in December 2020, am familiar with it for the past two years, and have been active on it for 1.5 years. I have supported all programs and projects of the Steemit team since its inception. Also, I tried to complete all the projects here with my sincere participation. In the future, I will participate in and fully support all the projects and initiatives that will be taken from the Steemit team.My Achievement-1 Post

Details of any positions of responsibility you have held on Steem:

As per my commitment, I am very happy to say that I am holding many important positions here. I have been selected as a Steem Representative. Also, I am performing my duties in many other communities. Below are mentioned all the communities I am In Charge of:

  • Admin of Steemit Travel: Currently, I am working as an admin on Steemit Travel a very well-reputed community on Steemit.We are already selected for the September community Engagement Challenge. I am trying to manage everything from the community account to providing good support to the users. giving all the support to the users so that they show interest in posting regularly. I am using the experiences I have gained so far on the Steemit platform for community and Steem growth.

  • Greeter in Newcomers community: Many new users have trouble getting their achievements on Steemit. So I am helping them in various ways to get verified. Appreciated by my work, I have been given the opportunity to become Greeter from the Newcomers community. Currently, I am working as a Greeter in the Newcomer Community. Also helps new users to understand this platform and solve their various problems.

  • Owner of Our Native Community: Since I am working as an admin of Steem for Bangladesh community. Newcomer members face various problems and for them, I make various guideline posts. In order to make it easier for them to understand various things, I create user guide posts on my native community and give them guidelines.

Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in "real life":

I am currently working as a freelancer and blogger. During my college life, I started learning various skills online. I have gained experience with cryptocurrency over the past two years. Moreover, I am a student in the mathematics department. I am studying BSc in Mathematics at a reputed university in our country. Besides, offline, I help my father in his ship-recycling scrap iron business. Another business that is our family business is the wedding decoration business. I help and support my father in all his business.

Details of experience you have had helping newcomers on the platform:

I always try to come forward in welcoming newcomers. Although the work is very challenging, I always prepare myself as a mentor to answer the various questions of the newcomers and give them guidelines. I have been working as a greeter in the Newcomer's Community for the past 10 months.

Since I know both Bengali and English, I pay most attention to the achievement posts written in these languages. I try to be very thorough and timed with verification so that I can detect invalid accounts. That is why we listen to the problems of newcomers by communicating with them on various social media and other issues and try to solve them as soon as possible.

I am always available for newcomers so that they can share with me whenever they face any problems. And try to keep a bond with them sympathetically and in a friendly. For the past few months, I have stored all the information of those whom I have verified and am always monitoring it so that nothing illegal can be spread.

Currently, I am a permanent resident of Bangladesh. As an independent state, our mother tongue is Bengali. In addition to my own language Bengali, I am well-versed in English. English is called the second language of our country. So I can read and write well in English.

My current Steem power when writing this post is 31,765 and my Reputation is 76.931. My voting CSI is 21.3. In the last 7 days, I have given 209 upvotes to 144 users. Try as much as possible to support the users who post well. I am trying to make proper use of the efficient delegation of power that I have gotten by virtue of being an SR.

I have given a total of 4,000 SP delegations from my account. I have delegated 3000 sp of them to our native community curation account @steem4bangladesh . Using that community account, I am curating the Bangladeshi user's posts.

I have delegated 1000 of them to the Steemit Travel Community account @hive-163291 . Where I am working as an admin and community manager. After taking responsibility in the community, I delegated the SPs. Again, using that community account, I am curating the posts of Steemit Travel Community users.

There is no delegation from my account to any other account or community. Because of the efficient power I have, I want to help the real users on Steemit by upvoting.

Any subjects you particularly enjoy curating:

I love to curate travel, contest entries, and diary-related or any subject posts. I like to curate the personal posts of those who post outside the community. Since I have been working as an admin on Steemit Travel, I have gained good experience in curating travel-related posts.

As a greeter, I love to curate newcomers' posts in different communities along with Achievement tasks in the Newcomers' Community.

Also, I would love to curate creative writing-related posts. I have previously curated various tutorial posts using the learnwithsteem tag. I love curating posts related to sharing people's skills and I'm good at it.

Conclusion

Users who create content through various content generators are considered another form of plagiarism. So before curating the post, I check all other things like plagiarism and copyright infringement, as well as whether the content was created by ChatGPT or other similar sites. I'm familiar with the tools available for detecting this sort of content created by ChatGPT or other similar sites.

Here are the tools I'm using to check plagiarism :

For AI:

I appreciate steemit team for this nice initiative. I would like to work as a curator in any team. Having previously worked as a curator for consecutive months, I have gained good experience as a post-curator. I know very well how to check a post GPT-content, plagiarism,post-quality, mark down style, proper tag , etc. of a post. So if I get a chance to work as a curator again I will use all my experience and fulfill my responsibility properly.
