My own definition about plagiarism by using someone else's idea without giving any consent.
-It also known as stealing and pass off the ideas of another as one's own.
-its also known as extracting other products without credit the sources.
There is Soo many ways we can defined it

                  **Type of plagiarism**

Accidental plagiarism*
Self plagiarism*
Mosaic plagiarism*
-ACCIDENTAL plagiarism - it unintentionally using same words without any attribute.
-SELF plagiarism-is act of borrowing of someone previous documents without any proper citation.
-MOSAIC plagiarism-is the act of patching someone else works to create a new text.

   **HOW CAN WE AVOID BEING PLAGIARISM**

Fade away being copy and paste words from original documents.If you have no remedy make sure you drop tangible citation and add the sources.
Then confirmed all your citation when submitting your documents to avoid plagiarism.
MY ADVICE
Do not assessed in plagiarism because It will make you chip soo low and failed among your group's*
