Producers vs. Parasites- Americans vs. Socialists... America at a Crossroads

The election of 2020 is going to be a lot more than just another presidential race... this election will be a referendum to determine the ratio of producers to parasites in America. Both sides have always existed to one extent or another but for the republic to survive either a surplus of producers must exist- or at the bare minimum a dynamic equilibrium must be maintained. When the parasites outnumber the producers, as Margaret Thatcher once wisely said: "The problem with Socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people's money."

On the "right" the producers are represented by Donald Trump- offering lower taxes, less regulations, jobs, equality of opportunity, etc.. The left will be represented by one of the Socialists yet to be determined- likely the one promising the most "free shit." Their promise is to steal and redistribute as much of what the producers can produce and give it away to the lazy parasites, determined not to produce anything themselves, but to live off "the fat of the land." Socialism, like any other parasitic movement depends on the inherent laziness and greed of mankind. Machiavelli sums up the prototype of the typical Socialist:

Similarly, Winston Churchill characterizes Socialism as:

The parasites that comprise American Socialism are mostly the children of affluence so several questions arise... how much misery are they willing to endure to further their ideology? My guess is not very much- all's well as long as it's someone else who suffers deprivation, but when it comes to the spoiled Socialists of America, well... I once heard a Socialist described as someone who wants everything you have- except your job. Another question is just how much corruption are they willing to tolerate for their "free shit?" Put another way, just how myopic is their selfishness?

One of Marx's many misconceptions is that human beings are naturally altruistic. However, altruism and myopic selfishness, laziness and greed are not only incompatible, they're polar opposites. The American Socialist is someone driven purely by laziness and greed, they fail to understand that there's no such thing as a free lunch, to quote the old axiom. These are people that have been given everything an affluent society has to offer... even going so far as getting trophies for merely showing up. To them hard work is anathema... in short they have been acculturated by the educational system to be parasites. The politicians pushing Socialist policies are also a product of the same system- they are the elites, for what that's worth.

All common sense has been removed by communities dominated by progressive politicians and bureaucrats. Consider the antifa terrorist group (no it hasn’t been deemed that yet but why not?)  Why haven’t legislators in all fifty states made banning face masks a requirement for all permits for any protests?  Whenever I see videos of these masked cowards vandalizing public buildings and getting away with it, my blood pressure spikes at the lunacy of watching impotent police officers standing by just watching.  So why have we become so dumb?  It would be easy to blame the mainstream media for the fake news that many accept as the truth, but it’s much more nefarious than that.  The plot against education goes back to Karl Marx and the Communist manifesto. I would bet that most of the children who participated in that climate protest haven’t any idea what communism is.  I’ve written several columns quoting parts of The Naked Communist, written by Cleon Skousen, a former FBI agent who analyzed the 45 goals of the Manifesto, most of which had already come to fruition. These are the most pertinent to today’s culture:

The fact that a society must first be "dumbed down" to accept Socialism says a lot about not only the ideology, but the people that push it as well. If there was a hierarchy of ideas, Socialism would be at the nadir. The motto of the Washington Post, Democracy Dies in Darkness, is also very telling... perhaps Darkness should be traded for An Intellectual Vacuum, it would be far would be more accurate. Socialism is a doctrine so ridiculous that only an intellectual would fall for it...

If someone reads through the 45 Points in total they would clearly see why it has to be "spoon fed" a little at a time- no rational person would voluntarily submit to this lunacy- here's a sample:

#15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. 16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights. 17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks. 18. Gain control of all student newspapers. 9. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. 20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, and policymaking positions.  Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press. 26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."  28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state." 29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.  30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

It reads like the platform of the Democratic Party. Author Alicia Colon summarizes it thus:

Simply said, the theory of the Communists may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property. All property should be owned by the state and be shared by all. The Bourgeoisie or class system is to be abolished and the proletariat or the working class will rule. Everyone is equal and the state oversees all our lives.

See how appealing that message is for those with no ambition and with low self-esteem.; how appealing it is to those who think it is unfair that some people have more than others. How appealing this ideology is for the have-nots who are envious of the haves. How appealing that ideology is to those who don't want to work for a living and want the state to provide for them from cradle to grave.

No matter how you slice it- winners vs. losers, producers vs parasites, Socialists vs Americans, America is at a crossroads and the election of 2020 is the turning-point. What the losers don't understand is that once private property is done away with and the state controls everything, what incentive does the state have to keep those who don't produce anything alive? They've already served their purpose and now only drain scarce resources. The reason that mice die in traps is because they think the cheese is free... Socialism works the same way.

I know the right likes to talk about economic freedom, free markets, and protecting producers, but I can't take it seriously when someone touts most of their candidates and especially Trump as a paragon of economic liberty. Corporate cronyism, political centralization of control, and militarism are evident in the policies they actually enact, not respect for producers.

It's just a question of who puts the smaller burden on the producers... in the end, producers pay for everything.

Producers and their customers share the burden of bureaucracy. I just see that burden being imposed in a bipartisan fashion all too often. Trump's tariffs and wall aren't exactly indicative of a liberty mindset, and he's not showing much more of a pattern toward peace than did Obama.

I had not taught about the 2020 elections being a vote on producers vs parasites, but you are right. It totally is. Thankfully, the US people are smarter than the CNN portrays them. They will ultimately choose high production over socialism.
The funny thing is, the Left does not have one single strong candidate. Literarily, no one is willing to stang up against Trump. He has played this game like a master playing Chess.

Except Hillary... don't count her out- she's just biding her time.

Dear Rich, I'm sorry that it is not about your post, but I have to ask because I have to know. It was you who sent us help on Bittrex?

Sadly, the parasites are winning.

Will resteem. Blessings my dear friend. @richq11
