To college students and upcoming students, the course selection process and scheduling systems generally suck. Semesterly makes it a whole lot easier. This combines the school system with much more actually useful information.
Descriptions
Each class has its associated course description as well as the professor right next to it. This makes is much easier to find courses I want, and avoid professors I don't.
Reviews
Students leave reviews on the courses. This helps a lot to obviously see which courses suck, but also helps me decide which section of the course to take if multiple professors teach the class at different times.
Scheduler
See above. It really helps you build the perfect schedule for you. Just seeing the times listed isn't good enough.
Facebook integration
I guess this is useful? I don't know. If you want to see what courses your friends are signed up for this could be useful. I would just go ask them. They are your friends after all. Maybe you just want to "coincidentally" get into the class with that one guy or gal you've been thinking of asking out. In which case you are super clever, but that's also really damn creepy. Stop
