This is such a fun game if you want to just sit down for a few and get pumped up. I have played this game for a number of years and I quite enjoy it. Since you can always download new songs to play, the game doesn't get old.

Mechanics

You download beatmaps online. These comprise the song and the stuff you've got to hit in time with the music (like rockband or guitar hero). There are two things you need to hit: buttons and sliders. The buttons are simple. It's a button, therefore you click it. The sliders are more complex. The slider starts with a button that turns into a ball. The ball rolls along a visible track to the end and you need to keep your cursor on top of the ball from beginning to end.

Music

This is a mixed bag. This is much bigger in Asia,so the majority of the music is Japanese or Korean. If you are a washed up former anime viewer then you will be right at home with your 2013 anime tunes.
