Storytellers That Soar On Eagles Wings

Who doesn’t love a good story? Its stories that fill our days, and in a paradoxical kind of a way we create our world and live out our own stories in moments and hours and throughout our days by way of our choices our imaginings, thoughts, intentions and our enormous and endless reservoir of creativity.

It takes creativity, skill, focus and a lot of patience to create a very good story. A good fiction writer understands, the timing and the pace of the story, the characters must be believable and relatable, sometimes it includes worldbuilding, there must be an opening, a plot a conclusion just to name a few parts of a story.

Overall it has to be a story that answers the question for the reader, “Why should I care and Why should I engage.”. Your excellent story answers that question and meets the reader’s needs based on the genres or reading styles they love.
Great Storytellers are precious and not always in our midst, so when we happen upon them, we should pause and take notice and honor them by listening to the stories they tell, or by reading the stories they have written.

This genre for me has a different feel than that of poetry because as I curate I am witnessing a longer stream of content and as well content that formulates for the mind words that are less about similes and rhymes and more about actual stories that show us people, places, and subjects that relate more practically in our day to day life.

Or it may be just the opposite and we just need to be entertained and taken away from the world we know or that the stories are so dark they scar the crap out of us and that in itself is a form of entertainment (for some).

The Three Artist featured in my debut curation are indeed brilliant writers. When I read their body of work I was drawn in completely. I found their gift of writing so intriguing I wanted to cancel all my appointments and projects for the day, pull out a bottle of Red wine, and the snacks that compliment the Red and just read until sunset. I am smiling as I write this because one day I will do just this.

I invite you to get to know these tremendously incredible literary artists, support them by way of following, upvoting and resteeming. And do leave a comment to the writers.

Now I am happy to present the Three Artist in the Spotlight today:
First Up Is:

@schattenjaeger ~

Who Hails from Finland
Although this body of fiction is 22 chapters in... I started with chapter 19 because he actually does a recap in chapter 19 for the entire series which will help us catch up, in brief, to help us decide if we want to go back and start at the beginning.

I find this series, so invigorating and adventurous which is what I look for on tv. I love adventure and action.

This story titled, Black and Silver series flows like the tv series 24 with Jack Bauer.
So buckle up, hold on tight, allow no distractions and give it a read. Please let me know and @schattenjaeger know what you think.

@ruth-girl

She is a teacher, writer and loves nature and photography
I recently discovered this artist. What I found intriguing about her is, she does the genre of dark fantasy very well. She carves out a great story that allows her readers to follow at a steady pace. If you like to go dark @ruth-girl’s storytelling is for you.

Next up is:

@cizzo

He is a writer of worldly and futuristic content. The invisible man story reminded me so much of different scenarios that I saw while living in New York and working in Harlem. And things you might see in the subway stations. @cizzo's stories have a unique twist that blends life situations with super powers and other realms of existence. He is an extremely gifted writer and storyteller. And he has much more to his body of work on his blog please check @cizzo out.

Next up is

@vermis

This inclusion is more of a welcome to Steemit nod of encouragement for him to write more, especially since he mentioned in his introduce yourself post(12 days ago) that he wanted to do more writing. Yes, 12 days ago which makes him one of our new Minnows. Let us encourage him to write more in this area if not continue this particular story which I found totally intriguing because in so many ways it rings true. I would venture to call it a techno-futuristic-storytelling. He is a storyteller of things we need to know and keep an eye on. Its to this story that the axiom applies: “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

Oh! Thank you for the lovely featuring! I think over the weekend I need to get down to reading those posts by the people you mentioned here! :)

I will be checking out your stuff about now...

How exciting! I've joined a storytelling club and it has totally altered the way that I write. All that stuff about similes etc no no no it is just about the story. Nice post rensoul and nice to be in contact again I have been off with carpal tunnel in fact I should still be off with carpal tunnel but I've had an injection in one of my wrists and I'm feeling optimistic even though it has made zero difference so far! Huge love to you beautiful lady xx
