A little bit of Childhood || My visit to 'Rangpur Zilla School'
Hello Wonderful People!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend
A few days ago I had the opportunity to visit my nephew's school. He actually invited me to have a visit with my son saying I will enjoy this. And that's so true. I was mesmerized by the large open playground, the greens, and the old school building. This is not my school where I studied but the kids and the old school vibes really attract me. Moreover, my son, who is just two and a half years, was so excited by seeing all the kids with school uniform, he was eager to join with them!
This is a monument from the school premises which is build to show respect to who killed in our 'Language Movement' in 1952.
This is the school building. This school provides educational facilities from class three to class 10 standard. This is under Government supervision, that's why the education cost is not very high here.
The most amazing thing is if you look around you will only not see the school building or concrete structure but you can see more green around you. The kids are truly blessed who have the opportunity to spend their childhood here.
You can see the large playground and the kid's activity. Actually I was there just before school time started. So most of them were in a hurry to join the classes. But a few of them were playing football or running in the field.
This large banyan tree is one of the major attractions of this place. People and the kid's guardian usually sit under the shade of it to spend the waiting time and have a rest.
This is not just a school premise, it's a public gathering place also. This is one of the major open spaces in the city so any large event usually takes place in the field. Also, people like to visit this place to see the structure and the fields as this school is 100 years old. Also, you will get to see people and especially friends are hanging out in the afternoon in the open field. Also, different sports groups play there and different health & yoga groups take their sessions in the field. So you easily can guess how busy this place is and what value it carries.
So, that's it for now. I hope you like my captures. I would love to share something else soon.

I guess it's always fun to re-visit your old school with all the good and bad memories! I have not been back to mine since i left the school.
It's not actually where I studied. But I have visited my school several times and I wish I could often visit and exchange 'Salam' with my teachers.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 😊

Nice big campus! Australia also has some large schools... so, it was a bit of shock in Netherlands that all the schools here have so little space... or need to share playgrounds and gyms with other nearby schools!
At least they have a play ground. Most of the school here in my city actually don't have any. They have a nice building but not any open space.
This school is in country said, that's why it still has this much space.
Thanks 😊
