The Contest Of Petals - White Flowers
My entry to white #flowers @Petals, an idea of @adrianobalan and @sardrt.
White bunchberry flower I found growing wild in the forest is a member of the dogwood family.
Bunchberry Flower
The Bunchberry flower turns into a cluster of bright red berries/drupes in late summer. The drupes are edible food enjoyed by deer and moose.
The lovely Bunchberry was used for a Canadian symbol in Meghan Markle’s wedding veil.
Wild Strawberry Plant Blossoms
The strawberry plant happened to pop by in my flower garden. Wild strawberries grow throughout the lawn.
The white blossoms turn into delicious red berries later on and are enjoyed by humans and animals.
Mountain Ash Blossoms
The white blossoms of the Mountain Ash tree. These turn into lovely edible red berries in the fall.
The berries stay on the tree all winter and the birds and other animals use them for food.

Love those little white flowers Bunchberry! I always
called them puppywoods, cause they look like a tiny
dogwoods lol
Nice to know the real name! Just took some photos
of some here today, bumper crops this year!
Wild strawberries and mountain ash here also, I
mostly notice those ash in the fall with all the
berries and coloured leaves 🌼🌿
