Spring Break ~ E and Red Dust's Hobby Time ~
Buttons and Silver Dragonflies
E's button necklace as well as mine are strung with Accu-Flex .024, 40lb beading wire. I used a handmade silver Dragonfly, I can't remember who made the Dragonfly, I bought it years ago. My necklace also has silver, moonstone, and glass beads. We will be beading, riding our bikes and painting all week long.
E is my Grandaughter, my sidekick in cooking up creative adventures. She also spring cleaned her bedroom and threw away a bunch of school papers she has been hoarding. We are going to nip that hoarding habit in the bud this week!
A creative family, having creative time together-- that's really cool!
I think what makes us human is that spark of creativity. I'm teaching my grandchildren how to nurture that spark so no one can put it out!

Maybe, we are spring cleaning her room...omg...such a pack rat! I made chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies for our breaktime. She says she loves me. I like to freak her out by asking who she is and debating on what and who is self. We've peeled the onion of labeled and physical self....she said our talks make her feel weird in a good way when we end up with nothing to label as me or mine. What a great kid!
