The common redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus)
In the spring, in the open field, I met this bird. This place was near the forest, on the outskirts, and a small river flowed below. In these places there were very thick impassable thickets of shrubs, as well as a lot of dry trees broken by winds.

This bird vigorously explored these places. I wrote a post about this long time ago. I then thought that she was probably looking for a place for future nesting.
And now, after a couple of months, I met her at the same place.

I am sure that this is exactly the same male I met in the spring. But now he was not alone, somewhere in the depths of the undergrowth was his female and chicks.
