This Little Box Saved My Day | Wifi Power Bank

Recent powercuts made my life bitter as a Software Engineer. But two weeks ago, I got this valuable gadget from the company to make my life less painful.

It is too Chinese-looking. If you still have no clue, it is a Wifi Power Bank. It can be plugged into electricity and also can be pinned into the router. When the power is gone, the router remains on without disconnecting.

A few weeks back I wrote this article about difficulties during power cuts. But with this equipment, I can work smoothly without a single drop.

But the thing is this remains only for 2h - 2.30h. It is pretty ok with the current schedule of power cuts which ends within 2h. As I got to know, this one cost 5000 LKR. It seems okay for the price. There are a few things I don't like in my wifi power bank. First, there are no readable instructions or proper details in the packaging. All are written in Chinese and I guess this product is made to internal use in China.

Secondly, it doesn't have any battery indicator that shows the status of charging. Because of that, I can't figure out whether it is going to be off or not. At least there is no indicator to show on or off.

But anyhow, in this situation, this product is extremely valuable to me. Even my brother can join his classes without interruption. I think nowadays everyone needs this kind of power bank.
