THE DIARY GAME : 13/08/2020 : Happy Birthday to YOU!🥳

It is August 13!! 🥰 It is his birthday.. I quickly took my mobile phone just after I waked up, and wrote a long birthday wish to him and sent it. I waked up at 5.00 a.m as I have to got to meet him. But before it, I completed counting points for my contest. Then I published the leaderboard for Thursday.

Then I cleaned my self and dressed up. After having breakfast, I left the home around 7.45 a.m. My plan was to meet him at 8.30 a.m and then start our journey. So we managed to meet on time. I asked him to drive to Galle Fort as I wanted a place relevant to the sea. Why sea? I'll tell it later.

We were there at 9.15 a.m. After parking the car, as the first thing, I gave him gifts for his birthday. I gave two things, one is shown in thumbnail image. I call it a birthday box. I wanted to go to a sea theme. I know I am not a big designer, but I really love to make crafts. So this time I made this sea birthday box and card. He was so happy about everything.🙂 Then after opening the gifts and sharing thanks we started to walk.

Galle Fort was built by Portuguese, and then Dutch have expanded it. Now it is controlled by the government. Unfortunately, many places were under repair today. As my boyfriend is studying civil engineering it was an interesting thing to him. So we walked along, even there were constructions. He taught me some terminology, but I don't remember any word now.🙊

We didn't forget to take many photos. (A lots of my photos and few of his😬) As we had more time, we went to the Maritime Archaeology Museum which is perfectly matched with my sea theme. I'm crazy😂😂. We needed to buy tickets before entering, but the girl at the counter was a my school friend. 🙊 She said us to not to worry about the ticket. The inside of the museum was really larger than I thought. There were marine artifacts found in underwater explorations such as statues, anchors, coins, pebbles, porcelain stuff, parts of sunk ships, models of ships, and many other archaeological things.

The following one attracted me. It is a statue of a lion that is found in 1945 from Moratuwa. It is not exactly a lion but includes features of different animals. According to its description, it may be from China or any other country in Southeast Asia.

We spent about 45 min inside the museum. Before coming we enjoyed some cutlets prepared by his mother. As I was hungry, I eat 4 and I took the remaining part home😋. Then we returned back and he dropped me home.

Just after came home, I took a wash and had lunch with one more extra cutlet🤓. His mother's cutlets are really tasty. Next, I checked steemit to see missed comments. Then I started watching Mrs congeniality part 2. It is an extension of its part one. I like this kind of girly movies. Then I prepared string hoppers with my mother.

Finally, I started writing the diary. Today is a very happy and lovely day, but now it is going to end. 🥺 See you tomorrow with the winner of my contest
