Lighthouse Hotel Lunch Buffet

Here is the last part of my last Saturday's visit. The last article was about the design and first impression of Light House Hotel.

Today, it's all about my food experience at Jetwing Lighthouse.

Usually, before every visit, we check google reviews properly. So within three hotels, we picked Jetwing Lighthouse as the destination. First, we gave a call to their number to check the availability of lunch buffets. Some hotels decide on buffets based on the crowd they have. Hence it's important to check the availability first. Then we made a reservation for two people. The price per person was around 4500, which wasn't a round number. Actually, the cost for the buffet was 3500 but with service charges, it comes to something around 4500-5000. The buffet is open at 12.30 pm, and casual dressing is allowed.

As I early said we were 30min early to the hotel, so we stayed in the lobby.

Finally, the buffet opened and we were served a table with a sea view. As we entered early we had plenty of space to take photos. Also, we were the one of few people who opened the buffet. So we could enjoy the better part.

Actually, the buffer was bigger than the buffet of Blue Water which was with the same reputation. The combination is also very good. There were several rice options, meat options, non-vegi options, Indian food, and some fast food options.

Actually, we were impressed by their salad options which were very delicious. Anyway, all the food was very delicious. They had some delicious hotdogs and chicken wraps too. They had a full western course.

We were very satisfied with the main course and then started dessert. We are the first people who start the dessert and until that it was untouched.

There were plenty of new items for this meal. I think there were some traditional desserts. Eventhough some were not in my favor, the desserts were also good.

This tree design is also magnificent. At first, I thought it is edible and I was checking which part of the tree to scoop. But later Harith made me understand that this tree is just a deco, not to eat.

I thought it is made of chocolate.

I must say that their service was very good. They didn't miss everything we asked. They were very pleasant and supportive.

I really recommend Jetwing Light House Buffet to anybody. For two people, you can have a very good experience for less than 10 000 Rupees.
