A New Data Analytics Company From A Boisterous Stanford Professor Comes Out Of Stealth With $52.5 Million In Fresh Funding
As per the article, this new contender in Data Analytics space is trail blazing across the industry just like Tableau, Data Robots and others. Unlike typical BI solutions, they claim to be more efficient in detecting root cause instead of having to drill down on multiple levels of hierarchical data points. I'd say there were impressive marketing talking points. Based on few screenshots I saw, it appeared to be similar to existing data visuals that you still have to drill down. I'll keep an open mind and try it on a practical project before drawing a conclusion.
