Where was the Middle Kingdom ?
The Chinese believed their country’s was at central of the world, so they called it the Middle Kingdom.
In fact, for centuries, China was one of the most advanced civilisation on earth.
Under the tang and Song Dynasty (ad 618-1279) Chinese cities, such as Chang’s (modern xian), were the worlds biggest.
